Consists of letters and memos written by and to Reed and Smilde. The majority of Reed's correspondence, all dated from 1944 to 1958, is congratulatory messages upon Reed's appointment to JWT and promotion to Vice President. Smilde's correspondence date from 1958 and 1960. Reed's and Smilde's correspondence with a numerous JWT offices are included in the JWT Offices Series. Smilde's correspondence with Samuel Meek is included in the Subject Files Series. Arranged chronologically.
