Scope and content:

Primarily contains printed material, including clippings, programs, newsletters, handbills, exhibit programs, journals, and journal articles. Also included are typed copies of articles, memoranda, and minutes. The files reflect Dr. Kanof's research interests in Jewish ceremonial art as well as other subject areas in the field of art; a substantial number of the files pertain to the administration and programs of the Jewish Museum and Judaic art exhibits at the North Carolina Museum of Art. Arranged alphabetically by subject and chronologically by year within the folders.
