Series consists of a selection of 15 images from the Fulcrum of Malice project by photographer Stacy Kranitz. The images document the area in and around Baton Rouge, Louisiana where toxic and unhealthy sites have been sited side-by-side with low-income neighborhoods whose residents are primarily people of color. The photographs measure 11x14 inches and are accompanied by an illustrated handmade book outlining the connections between systemic racism and the siting of toxic industrial sites, dependence on petroleum, and the environmental and health dangers of chemical contaminants.
