Cable Catalogue, 1971-1994

Scope and content:

Cable Catalogue is an unrealized concept for television shopping that Lawrence first created in 1978 as a consultant to a midwestern department store group considering direct marketing brand merchandise through cable television. The concept included scripted one-hour tv cable programs about the Stevens Family using the merchandise in their daily activities during which time viewers could purchase the items via telephone.
