Massie for "barns and tobacco" issued 1871; correspondence from Bland Massie, Florence Massie, and various grandchildren to matriarch Maria Massie; a 1872 January 26 letter from Maria Carr in Chicago describing the Chicago fire and its aftermath; business correspondence to Maria Massie regarding sales, prices of tobacco, and debts; financial accounts and balances for Maria Massie; a copy of Edmund Massie's homestead deed, dated 1884 January 9; other personal correspondence from various extended relatives of the Massie family.
