Name Files, 1950s-2010s
- Scope and content:
-
This subseries contains clippings and writings by others, filed by author or subject's name. Matlock collected a number of these files in the years immediately following his retirement, largely relating to his own research interests as he worked on his book. Also of note are the number of proofs and reports he collected by other foreign policy scholars; he maintained an active correspondence with many of them. The Gorbachev files include photographs of Matlock with Gorbachev dating from the 1990s.
