Comprised primarily of name files. The major files are the J.B. Matthews File and the Donald Sweany File. Other files are Titles of Publications, Tocsin, In Process, Miscellaneous, and 4 X 6 Cards.

At accessioning, the cards were transferred from file drawers in 22 file cabinets to card file boxes, maintaining the original (loosely) alphabetical order of the material. The cabinets contained two sets of Donald I Sweany's card files and one set of J. B. Matthews' card files.
