Scope and content:

Sui Xiufen (b. 1931) is a resident of Zhanggao Village, Heguan Town, Qingzhou City, Shandong Province. In this interview, Sui talks about constructing blast furnace during the Great Leap Forward and working day and night during the Great Famine. Many people died of starvation during the Great Famine. The filmmaker's description of this interview has been translated into English.

隋秀芬(1931年生)是山东省青州市何官镇张高村村民。在这段口述中,隋老人描述了大跃进时期大炼钢铁,大饥荒时期被迫日夜干活,到处饿死人的情况。
