Zeng Xianxin is the village stelemaker. He said that trees in the vallage were all cut off during the Great Leap Forward. The head of the village liked to brag about production so the team sold almost all their grain to the state. In the canteen there was only a few jin of grain for the whole team for each meal. Huangjuwo village used to have more than 100 people, more than half died of starvation.

曾宪鑫是村里有名的修碑匠。他说58年大办钢铁吧村里的树都砍光了。队长喜欢把粮食报得多一些，队里粮食卖得多，剩下的很少。食堂里全队就煮了几斤米.黄举窝那时候饿死得最后只剩下几十人了，以前有接近上百人的，都是饿死了的。
