Lu Hesheng (b. 1938) is a resident of Gongzhan Cillage, Maotou Town, Nan'an City, Fujian Province. In this interview, Lu recalls life during the Great Famine. When he got married in 1959, there was neither food nor money, and life was really tough. Later as a result of proneness to boasting and exaggeration, planting rice caused a lot of suffering. 卢合胜1938年出生,是福建省南安市码头镇宫占村的村民。在这段口述中,卢老人回忆了大饥荒时期得生活。他在1959年结婚时既没有吃的又没有钱,生活很艰苦。之后因为浮夸风,种水稻很折磨人。很多人都饿死了,或者得了水肿病。
