Zeng Zihua | 曾子华, 2016

Scope and content:

Zeng Zihua became the school headmaster in 1958. There were iron furnaces built in schools that year and students were organized to operate the furnace. From 1958 to 1961, there was a shortage of food, schools organized students to plant produce and kept the harvest to themselves which helped the students survive the famine. Some people in the village starved to death. There were health clinics set up in villages to try to help those who were sick due to the starvation.

曾子华58年开始担任马桥学校校长。那年开始大炼钢铁,学校也建了炼铁炉,发动学生炼铁。58年到61年都缺少粮食,学校组织学生种些东西不上缴,所以学生们度过了难关。村子里有人饿死。村子里建立了卫生室,把那个饿病的人集中到一起。
