Scope and content:

The bulk of this series consists of letters written to Morgenstern by economists, educators, businessmen, and officials of governments and organizations. Communications from personal friends and family are minimal in a collection that is primarily professional. Copies of Morgenstern's letters are available for some periods. Arranged into chronological groups often subdivided alphabetically. Noteworthy names and topics from each folder are listed below.
