Boxed Games, 1972-2007

Extent:
82 boxes
Scope and content:

Series includes 484 boxed game sets for role-playing games like Dungeons and Dragons, Advanced Dungeons and Dragons, Call of Cthulhu, Al-Qadim, Car Wars, Traveller, James Bond, and Star Trek. A boxed set typically includes maps and grids, character guides, encounter playbooks, a die, and other literature to be used for creating new or altered worlds within a particular game.

Arrangement:

Contents have been listed alphabetically by game world or campaign, and within each world, chronologically by date. General games that have no identifiable "world" are listed at the end in alphabetical order. Barcodes are included with each title to better assist box requests from off-site. A downloadable spreadsheet is available for researchers who are interested in sorting or browsing the games in a different way.
