"The Great Transition" theme taken up by the NCM social group, the Tuesday Morning Study Club, may refer to the term as used by Kenneth Boulding, social reformer, economist, educator, and systems scientist, in 1965, to mean a pivotal moment in social science and human society as it transitions from the 20th to the 21st century.
