Departmental material from Nerlove's Taussig Research Professorship at Harvard University from 1967-1968 and visiting appointment at the University of British Columbia in 1971, but each of the eight universities listed courted him to some degree, ranging from inquiries to offers/negotiations. Includes almost entirely correspondence, but there are also some clippings that reveal that he was following news stories while deliberating. Positions include regular/university professorships, with or without chairships, and even one deanship. Arranged alphabetically by institution.
