General files, including correspondence of Pope with members of the Journal Editorial Board (1942-47) and several ledger books (1942-58) containing records of Journal finances. There are also two files of personal correspondence with William Russell (1945-47) and a notebook recording events at the weekly Laboratory Research Meeting (1962-63).
