Reel begins with footage from an unknown source from Pacific theater, showing landing issues on carrier ships, and other footage showing American prisoners of war. "Voyage to Recovery," produced by the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, and U.S. Coast Guard combines documentary battle/casualty footage with some reenactment footage to show how the wounded are supported in recovering. "To Win the Peace" is directed at the need for continued support for post-war recovery. Features footage of President Harry S. Truman addressing camera.
