Anne Woodbridge Pickford (1930-2004), known professionally as Kaylan Pickford, was a model, actor, and author based in New York, active from the 1970s to the 2000s. Her papers include manuscripts, correspondence, financial records, clippings, black-and-white and color photography, and slides. This collection documents the personal life and professional activities of Anne "Kaylan" Pickford. Materials date from the 1940s to early 2000s and includes manuscripts, correspondence, financial records, clippings, black-and-white and color photographs, slides, and day planners. Biographical / historical:

Anne Woodbridge Pickford (1930-2004), commonly known during her career as Kaylan Pickford, was a model, actor and author. In the 1970s she began her entertainment career at the age of 44, and she worked in the entertainment industry into her 70s.

Pickford was born May 20th, 1930, in Boston. She attended Concord Academy in Concord, Massachusetts, and the Boston Museum School of Fine Arts, where she studied drawing and silversmithing. After the death of her second husband, Pickford began her modeling career with Ford Modeling Agency, working closely with J. Frederick Smith. By the peak of her career she was portrayed as the oldest supermodel by several publications, including the New York Times, The Los Angeles Times and USA Today. During the 1980s, Pickford appeared in several feature and made-for-television films. She died November 8, 2004, in Pomfret, Connecticut.
