Scope and content:

Philip Zimbardo, Ph.D. President of the American Psychological Association during changes in the ethics code that supported the PENS decision. Noted for the Stanford prison experiment. Dr. Zimbardo discusses how ethics questions were handle during his tenure as APA President. and criticizes the procedures and decisions of the PENS Task Force. He defends a role for psychologists in research and training of interrogators, but opposes direct participation of psychologists in interrogations.
