Public Files Subseries, 1986-1994
- Scope and content:
-
Contains public information put out by Price or his office such as "welcome" letters to new constituents, many speeches including parts of the Congressional Record, committee or hearing testimony, targeted mailings, and event flyers. At least one speech in the Public Files was not composed or presented by Price, but by Lech Walesa. A partial index in the first folder lists some of the items by date (December 3, 1986 through June 29, 1992). Folder titles are transcribed directly from the original folders and contain many initialisms and acronyms; the most frequent are "CR" for the Congressional Record, "TM" for "targeted mailing," and "Enc./Encl." for "enclosure." Arranged in roughly in reverse chronological order.
