Reactions and contestations after Radio Haiti's reporting on the May 1978 elections in the Dominican Republic, and the Agence France Presse's dispatch based on Radio Haiti's reporting. Radio Haiti reported rumors that there had been a coup d'état, but did not report that there was in fact a coup d'état; AFP reported that there had been a coup d'état. Radio Haiti responds to the allegations.
