Clippings Series, 1860-1944, undated (bulk 1910-1940)

Scope and content:

Chiefly loose clippings and clippings in scrapbooks, documenting Roper's political career and contemporary events. Scrapbooks also contain some correspondence, speeches, charts, printed materials and photographs.

Loose clippings are arranged chronologically, followed by two subject folders of clippings, and then the scrapbooks. The scrapbooks are arranged chronologically, with loose items contained in adjacent files.
