Full tune from two with one stop for instruction. 4. Restarts tune at section where stopped. 5. Talk: "That's the first suite I've ever heard, jazz suite." "Benny Golson's for Art Blakey." "More up to Cannonball, Tad Edwards, musical director $8,000, Jimmy Heath, Ted Dameron, Cannonball, Riverside." "Why I wrote th? things, Tad Dameron Records, First time I heard this stuff. (Kenny Dorham lp)...influence." "Rehearse and do it ourselfves, just to hear what it sounds like." "Dave's going on the road with Steve Swallow...he could tear into this (who's that) ...bass player, man." Explanation of arrangement. Piano demonstration of arrangement. 6. More people arrive 7.
