Piano in studio, NBC radio/tv, "John Henry" by Woodie Gurthrie record. Female voice in this room. "Come all you cowboys" Smith's voice: "looked in the hall or not" 2. New male voice "why don't you go upstairs and wait..." "want me to take them up there?" Smith talking about Jack Daniels. Phone in piano room rings. Smith: "Now all of those are either window projecte or jazz." 3. Smith: cat pics jazz, Brunehilda. "Carole" "maybe a little box of pictures." Stairsteps. Lot's of activity, drums, couple in hallway, Smith. Loft soundz. CDII 1. stairsteps and conversation. drums and piano pone 2. Smith: talking to cat and working. Phone. CDIII 1. More of everything including added horns, trumpet, sax 2. Same with more dialogue. 3. Camera talk and more music CDIV 1. Loft noise continued News show. "wanna get your car tonight?" 2. Sax and trumpet conitnue. Jay Cameron mentioned. "Body and Soul" film on tv. Someone coming over shortly. Drinking gin.
