The 181 pamphlets in this large grouping were published by the Henry Martin Institute of Islamic Studies, the All India Muslim Educational Society, the Gandhi Peace Foundation, the Institute of Social Sciences, Aurobindo Ashram, and other religious groups and individuals between 1950 and 2000. Formats range from pamphlets to descriptions of places of pilgrimage. They cover a wide range of topics: missionary activity among tribals; the issue of cow slaughter; religious shrines; religious polemics; various sects in Hinduism and their founders; religious institutions; social responsibility of religious leaders; modern religious movements such as Ayra Samaj and Rama Krishna; the issue of untouchability; religious and ethical questions; religion and science; universal brotherhood; and the founders of various religions, Sikhism, Buddhism, Islam, Christianity and Jainism.
