Scope and content:

Materials related to the Friends of Angola organization, an advocacy group based in Washington, DC. Begun in support of Angolan independence, it shifted into advocacy of the UNITA faction following the Portuguese withdrawl and outbreak of civil war.

Sub-series organized by Tate, someoverlap with other sub-series, including African Services Bureau, Medical Project, and UNITA.
