This series contains Earl Dotter's digitized and adjusted scans of his collection of Charles Thamm's family and professional photographs. Dotter's interactions with the scanned images include color corrections, grayscale editing, and other editing choices drawing on his expertise as a professional photographer.
Earl Dotter assigned titles and numbers (CT1, CT2, etc.) to each image. Many titles reflect the names and locations of the people or scenes present in the photograph. The un-altered original images are present as raw digital files and as original negatives and prints in the Charles G. A. Thamm Original Photographs series.
This series also contains Dotter's digital photographs of some of Thamm's artifacts, such as his cameras, which Dotter inherited or acquired as part of his research into his family's history and photography legacy.
