Three letters. William Hey, surgeon, writes William Henry about calculi. In a signed letter from 1831, Henry invites Michael Faraday on request of the Committee of the Manchester Royal Institution to give a course of lectures on chemistry. Informs him, however, that the Institution may not be able to supply all of the desired laboratory equipment. In the last letter, Henry replies to Thomas Thompson's request for advice on how to dispose of the minerological collection of his brother-in-law, William Phillips, and mentions geologist William Buckland.
