Scope and content:

Material related to finance courses that Treynor taught as a visiting professor, such as lecture preparation notes (mostly handwritten), transparencies, syllabi, exams, handouts, and graphs. These courses were on topics such as investment/security analysis, portfolio management, and financial planning and control. The largest file is on FBE 555: Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management at the University of California, where he was from 1985-1988 before spending 1988-1989 at Loyola Marymount University. There are also evaluations of Treynor's courses by his students and correspondence mostly related to recommendations of students and colleagues.
