This includes businesses that he worked for or started, talks/speeches that he was invited to give, conferences/seminars that he participated in or attended, and professional organizations and scholarly journals that he was involved with. The primary financial activities are related to his corporation Treynor Capital Management, Inc. and patent on a "Method for maintaining an absolute risk level for an investment portfolio." The primary professional organizations that he was heavily involved with are the Institute for Quantitative Research in Finance (Q Group) and the CFA Institute's Financial Analysts Journal (FAJ).
