Research and Notes, 1970-2016, bulk 1990-2016

Scope and content:

Treynor's research/subject files, with material such as clippings, graphs, notes, drafts of unpublished writings by Treynor, writings by others, and correspondence. The largest files are on inflation, macroeconomics, and retirement.

There are many letter-size notepads, most of which were found loose; they contain notes related to writings and conference presentations, drafts of correspondence, and tables with macroeconomic indicators. Loose notepads are now in the file "Notepads," but these folders and their contents are not arranged in any particular order. This means that although some folders have an approximate date, that date may not apply to every item in the folder (notes on the contents have been inserted into many folders, though).

Besides notepads, many handwritten notes and graphs were also found loose or in unlabeled folders. They are now arranged chronologically in the files "Assorted notes" and "Assorted graphs," but most of the graphs are undated.

Arrangement:

Arranged alphabetically.
