The Artwork series contains original and reproduced art by Troxler, including papercuts, drawings and paintings, printed designs, bound booklets, and photographs of some three-dimensional works. The materials were sorted and prepared by Allan Troxler's friends, Pamela George and Richard Ward, and most titles were supplied by them or by Allan during the process of packing for donation to the library. Comments and notes are largely from the donors; if Troxler supplied commentary, it has been recorded with the "AT at archiving" preface in this guide.
Materials are often fragile. Items have been filed by format, then size and by their assigned number. There are several instances where numbers are skipped or missing. Some overlap exists between the Artwork series and Troxler's Political and Community Materials series (particularly events or organizations where the artwork may have been used or displayed), as well as the Writings and Dance Materials series.
An artwork inventory by George and Ward is present in the Allan Troxler Personal Materials series.
