Includes images of buildings, people, events, and activities on West and East Campus as well as images taken for use in the 1978 Chanticleer. Buildings depicted include the Duke Chapel, the Allen Building, the West Campus quad (now Abele Quad), Perkins Library, Pegram dormitory, and many others. Persons depicted include Terry Sanford, members of the Associated Students of Duke University (ASDU), several professors and faculty members, freshmen students during orientation 1975, and many others. Events and activities depicted include several protests, including a rally related to Duke Forest, and many others. A number of images in the Chanticleer subseries are believed to have been taken by other photographers.
