Scope and content:

Twenty-four video oral history interviews with former and current leaders of Duke University and Duke Health, exploring Duke's past and its future potential. Interviewees include Dan Blue, Richard Brodhead, Robert Califf, Victor Dzau, Joel Fleishman, William Fulkerson, Grant Hill, Mary Jones and Rebecca Kirkland, Nannerl Keohane, William King, Sally Kornbluth, Mike Krzyzewski, Peter Lange, Charlie Lucas, Vincent Price, Benjamin Reese, Carmichael Roberts, Sally Robinson, David Rubenstein, Ralph Snyderman, Tallman Trask III, Rick Wagoner, Eugene Washington, and Sue Wasiolek. Interviewers include Ann Pelham, Adrian Hernandez, Peter Feaver, Luke A. Powery, Peter Lange, and Mary Klotman. Biographical / historical:

In 2024 Duke University celebrated its centennial with a series of programs it characterized as "a historic opportunity to recognize Duke's extraordinary past, communicate the impact of the present and look toward the potential of Duke's future." The Centennial Oral Histories Program was undertaken to produce video interviews with 24 former and current leaders of Duke University and Duke Health.
