- Nancy Jane Henry and Thomas Barker Dameron, Jr. were Duke University students during the 1940s, graduating from the Woman's College and the School of Medicine, respectively. This collection contains materials from their time at Duke including scrapbooks, photographs, Woman's College Handbooks, Duke Calendars, and ephemera related to Duke University and Greek organizations including Delta Delta Delta sorority.

Collection consists of scrapbooks containing materials from Nancy Jane Henry Dameron's time as a student at the Woman's College; Woman's College Student Handbooks; photographs; Duke Calendars; materials related to fraternities and sororities such as Delta Delta Delta and Sigma Alpha Epsilon; and ephemera related to Duke. Scrapbooks were disbound and pages put into archival folders.

Nancy Jane Henry and Thomas Barker Dameron, Jr. were white graduates of Duke University. They met at the Duke University School of Medicine and married in 1949. They went on to have five children together and were involved in service work throughout the state of North Carolina.
Nancy Jane Henry was born on July 24, 1926. She transferred from Madison College (now James Madison University) to Duke University in 1945. While at Duke, she became a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority and completed an American National Red Cross nurse's aide training course at the School of Medicine. She graduated from Duke with a degree in Psychology in 1948. She was a member of the Raleigh Fine Arts Society and the Rex Hospital Guild. She died on March 18, 2018.
Thomas Barker Dameron, Jr. was born on June 1, 1924. He attended the Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina and the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill before enrolling in the Duke School of Medicine. While at Duke, he played on the football team. After graduating, he taught at the School of Medicine from 1954 to 1961 and helped to establish the Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic. He died on December 11, 2004.
