The collection includes a copy of the 1949 February "Bulletin of Duke University: School of Spanish Studies," photographs, and a guest log of social events hosted by Lundeberg and his wife.
- Biographical / historical:

Olav K. Lundeberg graduated with an A.B. from St. Olaf College and earned his M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota. He came to Duke in 1931 and served as Associate Professor of Romance Languages. He founded the Summer School of Spanish Studies in 1942 and was its director. Lundeberg also worked as associate editor of the journal Hispania. He died in 1948 at the age of 54.
