Scope and content:

Materials include correspondence and memoranda related to the creation and general administrative matters of the Foundation for Southeast Asian Art and Culture (SEAAC), inventories, packing lists, customs entries and exhibition bonds of purchased art objects from Southeast Asia, estimates and bills related to construction of various buildings, and the Certificate of Incorporation, Amendments, and By-Laws of the Thai House Foundation (renamed SEAAC). Also included are tax returns, financial summaries, ledgers, and other financial records. Topics include land discussions and possible sites in Hawaii for the Thai Village, admission procedures and ticket sales, administrative expenses, the purchase and shipment of art objects, the construction of several buildings, and the daily operations of the Foundation.
