Collection contains a slideshow presentation from the 25 year reunion of the Omicron Nu Chapter in 2023, a constitution and by-laws document, a Fall 1997 events calendar, and two photographic prints with images of chapter members.

Biographical / historical:

The Omicron Nu Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority was chartered at Duke University in 1998. Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority was founded in 1922 and later incorporated as a national collegiate sorority in 1929 when it received a charter for the Alpha Chapter at Butler University. Sigma Gamma Rho is a part of the National Pan-Hellenic Council, which is made up of historically Black fraternities and sororities. The Omicron Nu Chapter takes part in a number of service projects, programs, and fundraisers. After eight years of inactivity on Duke's campus, Omicron Nu resumed activity in March 2026.
