- The University Center Activities and Events (UCAE) creates opportunities for students to expand their knowledge outside of the classroom, and the UCAE Center for Leadership Development and Social Action (LDSA) provides students with opportunities to learn about and practice effective leadership. This collection consists of materials related to events, workshops, seminars, and activities. This includes items related to Student Leadership and Service Awards and In the Spotlight Awards such as table displays, records for nominations, video recordings, and materials from awards ceremonies. The collection contains materials for student leadership retreats, conferences, student organizations, the Connection Project, the Duke Authenticity Project, Next Level Leadership, and Penny Pilgram George Women's Leadership Initiative. Contents of the collection also includes programs, event promotional materials, photographs, t-shirts, presentations, and reports.

University Center Activities and Events (UCAE) creates opportunities for students to expand their knowledge outside of the classroom. The UCAE Center for Leadership Development and Social Action (LDSA) provides developmental learning experiences and resources to enable Duke students to practice effective leadership and inspire positive change within the Duke, local and global communities. LDSA uses the Duke University Leadership Framework and offers a variety of workshops, conferences, and retreats for students to learn about and practice leadership. LDSA also offers a number of leadership and service awards for students.
The Office of Student Leadership became Duke Student Involvement and Leadership in late 2022/early 2023.
