Peggy Weiss was born in Plainfield, New Jersey, in 1948. She graduated from Northwestern University in 1970. From 1974 to 1981, Weiss produced television and radio advertisements at Ogilvy and Mather. In 1985, she graduated from New York University with an MBA in marketing. From 1990 to 2017, Weiss ran GenerationWeiss Marketing Communications, focusing on the gerontology markets.
