Materials depict diverse issues of economic development such as impact or actions from U.S. policy, foreign aid and trade policy, poverty reduction, labor rights and the rural sector in Latin America, international financial institutions (IFIs), and others. Several multilateral development banks (MDBs) figure prominently, including the Interamerican Development Bank (IDB, IADB, BID in Spanish); and the World Bank (WB), especially the activities of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD).
