Include clippings, correspondence, newsletters, reports, articles, and other assorted files related to Argentina mostly between the late 1970s-early 1980s. Topics include cases of extrajudicial imprisonment of dissidents by the government, several of which were brought before the Interamerican Commission on Human Rights (IACHR), proposed sales of arms to Argentina by the United States, Argentina's support of conservative authoritarian regimes in El Salvador and Bolivia, terrorism, and other human rights issues. Materials were created by WOLA staff including Rachel Nield and Coletta Youngers.
