Scope and content:

Includes clippings, photocopies of clippings, reports, articles, correspondence, notes, various publications, and other assorted material on Haiti. Alongside general background information on Haiti, and human rights issues, notable topics featured include elections during the 1990s, the Haitian police, US relations particularly on aid, Jean-Bertrand Aristide, the United Nations. Materials are in English, with some in French and Haitian Creole.
