Includes reports, white papers, drafts, publications, clippings, conference materials, and other assorted materials related to the conduct of police and associated human rights issues for most countries in Latin America. Later files on police reform include different names and projects by WOLA staff including the Citizen Security Project and Police Project, efforts that focus on the demilitarization of police forces and the work to increase involvement of civilians in policing. Additional topics reference police intimidation, violence, and abuse; NGOs; training programs; and community participation in reform. Files from WOLA staff such as Adriana Beltran, Susan Peacock, and Rachel Neild are included.
