Contains newspapers and clippings, press releases including urgent actions, correspondence, reports, serials, memos, other printed materials including a small number of comics in Spanish, and assorted materials dating mostly in the 1970s-1980s. Topics include the 1973 coup, General Augosto Pinochet's government and later arrest, Chilean politics and the first democratic election after the coup in 1989, US relations with Chile, Orlando Letelier, other human rights abuses, and efforts by human rights groups and NGOs to address disappearances and other abuses.
