Contains reports, clippings, articles, sign-ons, and other assorted materials on human rights in Haiti. Materials address human rights abuses, cases, trials, the judiciary and Truth Commission. Topics include poverty in Haiti, Haitian refugees and US policy towards them, the Haitian military, and the para-military organization FRAPH (Front for the Advancement and Progress of Haiti). Reports are from various organizations such as IPS (Institute for Policy Studies), the NCC (National Council of Churches), WOLA, and others.
