Brouillard Communications, a division of JWT, was established in 1973 and specialized in business-to-business advertising and corporate communications. Brouillard closed in 2009. Collection consists of two alphabetical information and reference files for business category and individual company materials. Includes correspondence, research reports, clippings, tear sheets, printed corporate materials such as annual and quarterly reports, new business and client presentations. The JWT Frankfurt (Germany) office opened in 1952 and served as the main JWT office in Germany, and directed many of JWT's pan-European advertising efforts. The Frankfurt Office Advertisements Collection spans the years 1950 through 1991 and includes newspaper and magazine print advertisements, tear sheets and proofs. Clients include BASF, Burger King, De Beers, Dunlop, Ford, Kraft, Lever Brothers, Pan Am, and Singer. Most advertisements are in German, although some are in English. Acquired as part of the John W. The papers of Wallace W. Elton span the years 1909 to 1990, although the bulk of the material dates from the 1940s to the 1960s. They consist of correspondence, memoranda, financial records, advertisements, military records, reports, photographs, drawings and other artwork, diaries, scrapbooks, memorabilia, printed material, and clippings. The collection documents the career of Elton; advertising history, especially agency management and the role of the creative director; and the automobile industry, especially advertising campaigns. Clients of the J. Walter Thompson Company represented in the collection include Chesebrough-Pond's, Ford Motor Company, and Pan American World Airways.

Nan Findlow was an advertising executive and entrepreneur. She was Creative Director for major retail companies, including Bamberger's and Macy's department stores, and held executive positions with the Ross Roy and J. Walter Thompson Company advertising agencies before founding her own consulting agency, Nan Findlow Creative Services. The Nan Findlow Papers span the years 1930-1995, the bulk of which document the period 1959-1967, and include clippings, photographs, advertising scripts for television commercials, print advertisements, story boards, marketing reports, correspondence, corporate memoranda, trade literature, speeches, and company newsletters. The bulk of the materials represents Findlow's time as an executive at the J. Walter Thompson Company (JWT), where her client assignments included American Home Products (Boyle-Midway), Chesebrough-Pond's, Lever Brothers Company, McCall's, Prince Matchabelli perfume, Revlon, and Scott Paper Company. In addition, there are brochures from Macy's and Georg-Jensen Inc., proofs, tear sheets, and artwork from L. Bamberger & Co. and Ross Roy of New York. The collection also includes writings, press releases, and account-history reports prepared by Nan Findlow Creative Services, the marketing consultant firm Findlow founded upon leaving JWT.
