The Jewish Heritage Foundation of North Carolina (JHFNC) graphic arts collection is an artificial collection of engravings, etchings, lithographs, screen prints, drawings, and sketches with themes related to Jewish religion, history, and culture. Artists represented include William Henry Bartlett, Paul Bourguignon, Gustave Doré, Joseph Margulies, Cécile Reims-Deux, and Yehudit Yelin-Ginat. The Jewish Heritage Foundation of North Carolina (JHFNC) is an independent organization dedicated to preserving and presenting the history of the Jewish people of North Carolina.

The Jewish Heritage Foundation of North Carolina (JHFNC) is an independent organization dedicated to preserving and presenting the history of the Jewish people of North Carolina, and transferred its archives, including these materials, to the Rubenstein Library in 2014. Since 2019, the organization has been known as Jewish Heritage North Carolina (JHNC). This collection consists of historical material created or collected by Jewish individuals, families, and social and religious organizations of North Carolina, and donated to the JHFNC. Types of material include scrapbooks, certificates, pamphlets, catalogs, correspondence, photographs, World War II-era Nazi weapons and military paraphernalia collected by Jewish American soldiers, and other artifacts and manuscript materials.

Milo A. Jewett was a physician, amateur photographer, and American consul in Turkey (Sivas, 1892-1905 and Trebizond, 1905-1911). Collection comprises 19 images of various locations in the northern provinces, including 18 mounted albumen photographs probably taken by Jewett, along with one published view of Sivas attributed to Franklin Eng Co, Boston. All but one of the images is captioned, and several photographs an additional information written on the back of the mount.

Resident of Brownsville, Maryland and wife of Samuel Jennings, Jr. Papers of Maryland resident Annie (Fouch?) Jennings include business documents of Samuel Jennings, David Fouch, and Samuel Jennings Jr., farmers and millers of wheat in Washington County, Maryland; land deeds and surveys; debts; tax listings; correspondence concerning family matters and social life in Maryland, Iowa, Illinois, and South Dakota; papers related to the English estate of William Jenners; Sunday School lessons of the 1870s; and genealogies of the Fouch and Jennings (or Jenners) families. Volumes include an account book, 1852-1853, of David Fouch (?) for milling flour, and a route book, 1882-1883, of Fred O'Brian.

Edgar P. Jeffries was a physician in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Collection comprises two letters written to and from Edgar P. Jeffries. On 7 June 1886, F. B. Sanborn wrote to Jeffries regarding the state of prison reform in the country, and discussing the implementation of reformatory discipline, the "separate or cellular system," and the use of labor in prisons. In the second letter in the collection, dated 9 June 1886, Jeffries forwards Sanborn's letter to D. O. Kellogg, editor of the American edition of the Encylopaedia Britannica.

Julie LaValle Jones was a feminist who worked to prevent domestic violence in the Washington, D.C. area. Accession (2008-0029) (3600 items; 4.8 lin. ft.; dated 1970-1998, bulk 1973-1982) includes speeches, essays, pamphlets and other feminist publications (e.g. newspapers and journals), administrative files of all the feminist organizations Jones founded or worked with, conference files, project files, subject files, correspondence, and ephemera (including four posters and two audiocassettes). Some of the organizations represented include the YWCA, My Sister's Place, the Women's Legal Defense Fund's Task Force on Abused Women, and the Feminist Alliance Against Rape. Acquired as part of the Sallie Bingham Center for Women's History and Culture.

Physician and resident of Durham, North Carolina. Collection consists of correspondence (chiefly 1947-1974), writings, reports, printed material, clippings, and other papers, relating to Jones's interest as a physician in alcoholism, mental health, and agathanasia (the care of the dying), and his activities with the Durham Council on Alcoholism and Medical Society of the state of North Carolina. There are also letters, photographs, writings, legal and financial papers, and other items relating to the Jones, Scanlun, Blackwell, and Graver families of North Carolina and Virginia (Dinwiddie County and other places). Collection highlights include a memoir of Rev. George White discussing slave-owner relations prior to and during the Civil War; photographs of Shenandoah Normal College (Reliance, Va.); records of Jones's service on the staff of the 65th General Hospital in England during World War II (affiliated with the Duke School of Medicine); Mrs. Jones's high school scrapbook and her journals of 1923 and 1926 trips abroad; and a photograph album and other scrapbooks.
