Fuente submits two recipes which he has found to be effective in the alleviation of yellow fever and asks that his findings be reported to the U.S. Consuls in Mexico and the Antilles and to the authorities in Vera Cruz, Havana and Philadelphia. Fuente understood the yellow fever to be a kind of colic, a disease of the digestive organs.
