Rick Lang was a photographer and faculty member at the Creadlé School of Art, Winter Park, Florida. Collection comprises 229 black-and-white photographs documenting the American South, particularly Florida and Louisiana, with an emphasis on roadside advertising and signs, small businesses, and weathered buildings. There are also a few images from New Mexico and Arizona. Print sizes range from 11x14 to 20x24 inches. Accompanying the prints are 104 digital image files and one pdf, over 3000 negatives, and 258 contact sheets. In addition there are print materials chiefly associated with Lang's solo and group exhibits, including three photobooks, and condolences sent upon his passing in 2013. Acquired as part of the Archive of Documentary Arts at Duke University.

Consumer Reports is a product testing and consumer advocacy nonprofit organization based in Yonkers, N.Y., founded in 1936 as Consumers Union. The International Organization of Consumers' Unions (IOCU) is a consumer protection and rights advocacy organization founded in the Hague in 1960; it renamed as Consumers International in 1995. Collection includes audiovisual materials; clippings; correspondence; financial reports; meeting minutes; membership applications; policy statements; press releases; proceedings and planning documents for conferences, seminars, and workshops; texts of speeches and articles; and other printed materials that document Consumers Union's membership and participation in the organization. Organizations and individuals represented in the collection include: Anwar Fazal; Charles Medawar; Florence Mason; Foo Gaik Sim; Health Action International; International Air Transport Association; International Baby Food Action Network; Lars Broch; Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development; Pesticide Action Network; United Nations. The Center for Multicultural Affairs began as the Office of Black Affairs in 1969 to address the needs of the African American student population at Duke University. As the Center for Multicultural Affairs, the department's mission is to foster a welcoming environment, support all students in becoming engaged members of the Duke community, and to promote community engagement. The collection contains a variety of administrative materials, including reports, correspondence, minutes and programs, documenting the directives and activities of the Office of Black Affairs, the Office of Minority Affairs, the Office of Intercultural Affairs, and the Center for Multicultural Affairs. Also included are materials pertaining to the Summer Transitional Program, which was established in 1969 and managed by the Office of Minority Affairs.

Allan Troxler (1947-2025) was an artist, author, and dance instructor from Durham, N.C. Troxler's collection consists of his artwork, family history, and writings, as well as the archives of his lifelong partner, Carl Wittman. Carl Wittman's archives include his diaries, letters, and writings on civil rights and gay liberation. The collection also contains materials documenting the Durham (N.C.) arts scene, English country dance, AIDS in the gay community, and Troxler's collection of materials from Catherine Nicholson.

In 2002 the agency closed upon acquisition by French company Publicis. Collection includes memoranda; correspondence; reports; corporate publications; marketing research reports; manuals; employee reference material; press releases; a press book; speeches; clippings; photographs and negatives in color and black-and-white; films, video and sound recordings, and DVDs; book manuscripts; financial papers; and a scrapbook. The collection documents the history of Benton & Bowles advertising; the merger of the D'Arcy MacManus Masius and Benton & Bowles companies; the early careers of William Benton and Atherton W.
